Chromocyte™ Ltd - New company launch

A new company has been launched this month by a University of Sheffield academic, Professor Graham Pockley. The company, Chromocyte™ Ltd, is an online resource to aid researchers to plan experiments which analyse cells using a technique called flow cytometry.

On 10th June 2010, the picturesque courtyard at Harewood House near Leeds was decorated with some new project posters and hosted a barbecue, complete with chocolate fountain, to celebrate the success of YEF.

Prestigious Award for YEF Fellow for Bladder Research

Mr Alexander Oboh of Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, was amongst the winners at Medipex's annual NHS Innovation competition awards for his much improved design of forceps used to assist in the delivery of babies.
